The Trailblazer Project: Celebrating Women's History Month and Honoring Trailblazing Women and Girls

Trailblazers in Schools

Calling all elementary teachers, school administrators, and parents:

Partner with us this Spring to inspire your students to believe in the possibilities for their future! The Trailblazer's In School's project is a fun 45 minute interactive presentation that introduces children to the stories of local women who have broken barriers, shattered glass ceilings, and changed history.

The Trailblazers in Schools curriculum is based on Sunshine State Standards for Social Studies. Presentations are facilitated for 2nd - 5th graders by trained volunteers and team members and focus on local women's history. The program is available to your students FREE of charge.

Presentations are being held now through mid-April. To schedule a presentation for your 2nd - 5th grade class at any school in Leon County, free of cost, email

If you are a parent of an elementary age child, please help us bring local women's history in to the classroom by making an introduction to your child's teacher.

Please help us spread the word!
