The first (of many) CELEBRATION OF WOMEN was held September 24, 2010. It was a laughter-music-talent-food filled event that left attendees feeling good and looking forward to next year. The event was hosted by Rebeccah Cantley and TaMaryn Waters from the Tallahassee Democrat and highlighted short performances by women including Julianna Baggot, Diane Ferguson, Tryst, Andrea Jones, Acting UP, Lisa Best, Rosalind Tompkins, Faith Dancers, Thomasville Road Academy of the Arts. It was an evening with a wide range of diverse acts highlighting the diverse creativity of women. The performers brought the audience to their feet, had them rolling in the aisles and gave them an all around, feel GREAT good time.
